USA Trains G Scale ALCO S-4 Switcher #146. Condition Used with Added Features. The locomotive has been converted to Battery Power for independent operation. This includes rechargeable 14.8V Li-Lon Battery, Airwire G3 Decoder Board, Phoenix P-8 Sound Board and Speaker all within locomotive shell. TRACK POWER PICKUP HAS BEEN DISABLED. Comes with the CVP T5000 Throttle and Tenergy TLP-4000 Universal 1A Li-Ion/Polymer Battery Pack Charger 3.7-14.8V 1-4S. The smoke unit works with the throttle as well as all lights and sound. A strobe LED has been added to the cab roof for visibility while working in the freight yard. The road name is “Sandy Creek” these are custom made vinyl letters and can be removed. With the Switcher you will receive 3 Lionel single bay hoppers road name “Sandy Creek”. All 3 have Kadee couplers and a plexiglass insert for creating a load on top of hooper. All have metal wheels. All 3 hoppers have the same number, never got around to changing. One hopper box is all I have. Manuals included with running information on card to get you started plus a bottle of USA Trains Smoke Fluid. You are able to run on a powered track as the track pickup is removed and can also run on a non powered track. This locomotive is RTR out of the box.
