The band is not designed to make your sheets wrinkle free or totally immobile if they are baggie or over-sized to begin with. This is more than a giant rubber band because it’s engineered with patent pending embossed ribbing that uses a horizonal tension design to secure bedding rather than clips that attach to your sheets.
The Primary Purpose: The band was primarily designed as a hassle-free way to keep your bottom fitted sheet from riding up off the corners and to keep bedding from having to be tucked under the mattress at the foot of the bed. You’ll never lift your mattress again to tuck in your sheets, which is so much easier than sheet suspenders and attaching sheet clips and sheet straps that go under your mattress. The band will not hold sheets as secure as it does on the corners.
Top Sheet and Other Bedding: Your top sheet and other bedding can be tucked between the band and the mattress to help keep them more secure but depending on your mattresses type, and your sleeping habits, you may want to manually adjust the size of the band to create more horizonal tension on the sides.
