Olympus BH2 microscope DIC / NIC system = complete & rare

Description

Olympus BH2 DIC / NIC differential interference contrast, phase contrast, and bright field system. Took me 30 years to find this and now decided to let it go due to advancing age and medical issues. The condenser is in great condition with no issues with optics or Wollaston prisms.
The re-combiner slider and intermediate piece are also nice and like new condition with no optical or mechanical issues. Note this condenser is a high numerical aperture of 1.4, so you can get full resolution as well as maximum spherical and chromatic correction from the outstanding Olympus high numerical aperture objectives, which unlike the 'universal' condenser which is a 0.9 that was later introduced. The condenser has prisms installed for 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x, as well as having phase and bright field stops. I have owned Zeiss, Leitz, Reichert, DIC systems and none were as superior and easy to use and generated even DIC as this very system does. There is no need for fiddling with sliders or prisms it just plain works perfectly and easily. Please ask any questions in a timely manner so I can respond prior to auction end.
