LGB 4128 Vintage Green MOB R. Blank Boxcar with Brakeman's Platform, Box & Slv.

Description

For sale is a vintage LGB 4128 green boxcar of the Swiss Montreux-Berner Oberland Bahn advertising the R. Blank company with a brakeman's platform, original box and a protective sleeve.  The colorful graphics of flowers and vegetables are eye-catching and rich in detail, perfect for a Garden Railroad!  According to the "Kompendium" these cars were made from 1989 - '94; with the introduction of the 5-digit numbering system circa '93, this one is clearly and earlier model.  The car is in excellent condition, with a little dust in some of the tight places of the underside's "rigging."  It has the original plastic wheels, but there is no extra coupling hook & spring set.  The box has some shelf wear with the front "window" and the interior packing "tray" having yellowed, perhaps due to unprotected exposure to sunlight.  The sleeve also has some shelf wear.  This comes from a smoke-free home.  I can combine, to some degree, multiple purchases in order to save a Buyer on shipping.  Please contact me before paying, though, please.
