    Description

Upgrade your Game Boy Advance from its low powered AA battery compartment to a drop-in USB-C rechargeable battery pack.
Adds 6.3 watts of power (compared to 2 watt for the largest AA batteries available) giving you 3 times the game time! Charge at any time using a regular USB-C cable, and even reverse charge the console from your phone if it supports power share. That means you can charge your GBA while you are out, using your phone battery.
Designed and tested in the UK by a reputable modder and builder, the RetroSix/Hand Held Legend CleanJuice for GBA is the ultimate upgrade to your console.
    Important information:
USB-C battery hole will need to be cut by the user or you can purchase a pre-milled battery cover  (not yet available). A pre-milled battery cover is
    NOT
    included by default.
    INTERNATIONAL
    Shipping
    is
    available
for a premium. We will install the battery in a generic GBA shell to meet international Li-Ion battery shipping regulations. Shell will not come with any additional accessories and may be of various colors. When our RetroSix GBA shells arrive we will require that you purchase a modified shell so we can ship inside rather than use a case of a color you might not need.
You will need to plug in the battery and supply the GBA internals when received.

    Installation
Follow the steps below to install your CleanJuice battery module:
Connect battery to CleanJuice board (only fits in one way so don't worry).
If your shell is a , no need to do anything. If it's regular shell, trim the little stump at the bottom of the battery compartment where the AA batteries usually go so that its flat.
Double sided adhesive is applied on both sides to help keep everything in place.
Place battery into shell with the wire coming out at the top left corner.
Place CleanJuice board in left side first, then push down the right side so that the springs of the CleanJuice make contact with the GBA battery springs.
Use a RetroSix USB-C battery cover (sold separately, in various colors), or cut a hole for the USB-C port using a 4mm drill bit and drill 3 holes in the center of the battery cover as shown in the image.
Put the back cover on the console, and you are ready to go.
Give the CleanJuice a full charge and enjoy well over 14 hours of gaming even with a fully IPS + Audio Amp modded console!
