Many are not aware that in 1975 Suzuki produced a very limited number of semi factory works bikes (called RH250's) for the general population. Only sold in Japan, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia, they were never available in the USA. Much like the 1975 RM125M bikes that were released in America (and are very collectible today), these RH 250's were 'crossover' bikes that incorporated features from both TM & RM styling components. These highly collectible factory RH250's were available only to super fast guys. Sold to pro-level racers only for a very limited time (between the limited run of production '75 TM 250M's, and before the '76 RM250A production models were released). Far from a true factory works GP bike like DeCoster or Robert rode, these 'production' RH's had some super cool features like works KYB forks, aluminum fuel tanks, and loads of additional super bitchin' trick bits.
LAST PHOTO SHOWS a real Suzuki '75 RH250 'privateer' from Japan. Note the similarities.
This bike for sale is a '74 TM400L that someone started this 'works' conversion on. Frame has had 'lay down' conversion done along with a pair of KYB RM250 shocks, side panels, Andre's chrome alloy bars, racing foot pegs, unusual & trick air cap forks, Magura dog leg levers, and various other trick bits. It wouldn't take much to restore this bike into a pretty neat replica version of that RH250. Added bonus would be you've got a 400, and not just a 250.
Surprisingly the original round steel cannister airbox has been retained. Oil injection (CCI) still functional.
Motor is currently stuck. Rear frame loops (rear of seat area) have been bent up from being looped out. Looks like oil injection system is still operating (see tiny oil bottle). This bike will need a total resto but I think in the right hands, once restored, will be super cool dirt bike.

PAYMENT: I am not a big fan of paypal fees, especially on big ticket items like my bikes. If you want to pay me the total amount via paypal, you may do so only if you are willing to pay full price ('buy it now' option). Then I will absorb the fees. If you want to make me a lower offer, then you will need to add the 4% (international add 5%) to our agreed upon price to cover those fees.
