Purchased from original owner who raced bike, restored it, and then parked it.
Motor rebuilt with newly added electronic ignition, Circle-F pipe, original aluminum tank is very nice. Frame was powder-coated and is in excellent shape, plastic fenders and airbox, Progressive shocks are expensive aluminum bodied versions with adjustable rebound damping control. Slight porting to cylinder for added grunt. Excel rims are almost new, tires are almost new, aftermarket chain adjuster, correct '74 swingarm in excellent shape, forks 1" added travel with emulators, etc etc. New seat cover, original bars & levers, racing cleated footpegs, etc. 36mm Mikuni conversion. New seat cover is resting on top of original and will need to be properly mounted. Small dings in aluminum tank, especially on left side (see photos).
This is a very nice, very fast, one year only '74 CZ 400.
Quick bike, runs great no issues. Add fuel and race, or show.
